Conversations with your companion can get personal, so here's the short version: we collect what's needed to run the Service and bill you for it, we never sell your data, and we don't hand your conversations to third-party AI vendors — replies and images are generated on infrastructure we operate ourselves. Details below.

1. Who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy explains how Your Girlfriend Experience ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use yourgirlfriendexperience.com and the associated email-based service (together, the "Service"). We're based in and operate this policy in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

2. Information we collect

3. How we use your information

To operate the Service — generating in-character replies, maintaining conversational memory, and producing persona-consistent images;
To process payments and manage your subscription;
To send transactional email (welcome messages, companion replies, billing notices, account-related notices);
To run every reply and image through automated content moderation before delivery;
To detect abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service;
To maintain and improve the Service's reliability and safety.

We do not use your conversation content for advertising, and we do not sell personal information to third parties.

4. Where your data is processed

Unlike products that route your conversation through a third-party AI API, the language model and image-generation systems behind your companion run on infrastructure we operate directly. Your conversation content isn't sent to an outside AI vendor to generate a reply. Some data — payment processing, and possibly the servers this Service runs on — may still be processed or hosted outside Canada; where that's the case, it remains subject to the protections described in this policy.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and conversation data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you resubscribe or to meet legal/accounting obligations (for example, billing records). You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see Section 7.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of session cookies to keep you signed in to your account panel or the admin console. These are functional, not advertising or tracking cookies, and expire automatically.

7. Your rights

Under PIPEDA and applicable Canadian privacy law, you have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you;
Correct inaccurate information (for example, via your account panel);
Withdraw consent and request deletion of your account and data, subject to legal or legitimate business retention requirements (such as billing records);
Ask questions about how your information is handled.

8. Third-party service providers

We share the minimum information necessary with a small number of service providers who help us run the Service, currently limited to our payment processor (Stripe) for billing. These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide the service we've engaged them for.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at, and is not knowingly offered to, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete associated data.

10. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS) and access controls on the systems that store your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we treat conversation data as sensitive given its personal nature.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated to active subscribers by email.
